My nephew from Sweden, David, joined the Swedish Army to serve for a year before he goes to college. He is in a leadership position, but processes things differently from most people. He feels he is too slow to learn things and he isn’t fitting in as quickly as he needs to. It’s only been a week, but he’s quite discouraged. We know he will grow and at the end of the year, will feel accomplished and have valuable skills for life. Right now, he needs prayer for God to talk directly to him, guide him, protect him, and show favor and peace to his group. He knows about God and Jesus, but I don’t know how personal his relationship is yet. He’s quite intelligent and is hard on himself. He has a tender heart.
