I really like the WayFM Bible verse today.
I think another good passage to consider is, “Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.” Colossians 3:12-15
The past two weeks have been particularly difficult for me because the unanticipated conflict that was revived early last week has exacerbated my health symptoms, but I keep remembering that the current health crisis has made some friends/former friends of mine more reluctant to extend empathy. I am praying for them sincerely and that for everyone, God will use their setbacks as a setup for his blessing (Jud Wilhite). I’m using my first name here and pray that it will be welcomed with Christ-like kindness.
