Please pray with me. On Monday I lost my father. Although he had been not doing well for some time it was sudden. I am struggling with many things right now as I did not go to the funeral because my son planned it basically without me. I live over a thousand miles away, and was grieving and wasn’t up to the drive or even flying at that point I just needed a few days to grieve before making any plans but my son went ahead and buried my father yesterday, 4 days out.
A very close family friend has helped my family immensely preparing for the viewing and funeral while keeping in contact with me. I’m forever grateful, for the love and help as I know my son wouldn’t have been able to do it without him. I know we all grieve in different times and in different ways. However, S is having a very hard time accepting my father’s death right now, as he feels as though he fell short in helping which is not the case at all, he is like family to us and one of the most kind-hearted people I have ever met. Pray for all of us to be able to get through this and help each other. Give us the strength we all need individually to cope and grieve properly, As we are broken family to start with. IJNIPA
