Aliyah
After years of praying for my family to return to God and for their passion for the things of the Lord (including returning to church) because they do not go now and haven’t for awhile. which I’ll be honest I’m doubting they even had in the first place when we did go to church as a family. That to say, I’m starting to lose hope. I don’t want to and I hate the thought of giving up praying for them.
But everytime I ask if they want to come to church or participate in some devotional time, I always find myself getting really discouraged or defeated at their preoccupation with other things during those times. To where they’re there but the they are not actively present. I currently go to church alone and thoroughly enjoy it but as I see the families there it makes me long for something I don’t currently have.
I don’t want to force them but I want to grow together as a family in the Lord.. Please please please please pray for me to continue to be faithful in praying for them and being a consistent example of the Lord to them. I am 24 yrs old, a daughter and sister who is and has been praying here more specifically for my immediate family. Thank you and God bless.
