My son joined the Army in September of 2019. He graduated from basic the end of January 2020. He then went on to do his AIT when coronavirus really started hitting us. He has dealt with depression and anxiety his entire life, but it really took over his life again from June through December of 2020. He needs to be around people constantly and with all of the covid restrictions, he really struggled. He went through the proper channels and was put on anti-anxiety meds which did not help. He decided to smoke weed instead of killing himself and unfortunately was tested 2 days later. He has been paying a hefty price for that decision and now was told that he will be receiving separation papers. He needs a lot of prayer. He now needs a new direction in life.
