My daughter was physically and emotionally abused by her husband. She got into heavily into drugs and alcohol and overdosed in front of me, her father, and her sister last week when we were 5 minutes from getting in the car to take her to voluntary detox. She is now in the hospital and has been there for 6 days. She has so much weighing on her mind with this marriage. Her husband has brainwashed her into believing he is the “King” and that she will never do better than him. I am requesting prayers for healing of her body and peace for her mind and heart and that she will look to Jesus, the true King, for the answers as to how He wants her to move forward with her life. It has been a very painful and trying year for our family with her addiction and knowing of the abuse and being helpless to help her. May God’s grace and mercy be upon her and our family. May He give us the words we need to speak to help her understand her husband is NOT the man for her and she deserves so much more for her future moving forward. Thank you.

My daughter is doing much better now that she is in a safe, healthy, loving environment. Her husband is now in jail for felony gun possession and awaiting trial in November. She has started attending church and bible study with her younger sister and attending counseling and rehab. Thanks be to God and to all who have prayed for her. She is taking it day by day but willing to and making great strides to break free from her husband's abusive hands and words and away from the drugs and alcohol.
