My prayer is one of gratitude for abundant, overflowing blessings and answered prayers. Eight months ago tomorrow I unexpectedly lost my 44 year old husband. I was utterly destroyed. I have no memory of the first three months of this year. I was living in a garage with no plumbing or electric and just waiting for God to call me home. Today, I am living with my best friend from high school who is helping me get back on my feet. I have a job interview today and if they offer me a job that will make four job offers I have on the table. I will make a decision tonight after my interview as to which job I will choose. In the last month I have gone from desperate lonely destroyed and wishing more than anything that God would call me home to feeling hopeful loved and called by the grace of God and by his grace alone. So my prayer today is one of Thanksgiving and gratitude for the love the grace and the mercy that can only come through Christ our Lord.
