I am so discouraged and really have nowhere else to turn. My heart is broken. It just keeps getting worse after my daughter’s fiance ended their 4 1/2 relationship 2 months ago. He showed up to the College group at church where my daughter was. He had the nerve to tell her that he is now sleeping around and feels that he is a better person for it.
We walked this boy through hell when his parents divorced. We loved him as if he were our son. We fed him, gave him a place to stay, and prayed countless prayers for him. He knows the truth, and he is so deceived and Satan has obviously won. I feel used, humiliated, and that my prayers were wasted!! We wanted him to come back, now I never want to see him again!
He did love our daughter enough to end things before he went off the deep end just like his parents did, and didn’t drag her down with him. So I am thankful for that. How can someone change so drastically in such a short time?
