My cat has no interest in eating. I’ve spent over $1,400 trying to find out what’s wrong with her & haven’t been been able to find out what the problem is. Initially she was suffering from constipation over a long period of time. Finally I have that stabilized by using Miralax sprinkled over her dry food since she doesn’t want to eat wet food ever. The problem is her appetite & she’s a very little kitty cat. She’s 8 years old & weighs 7 lbs. I don’t really know where to go from here. I have her on appetite stimulants, which I give her every 3 days but they will stop working at some point & then I’m afraid I’ll have to watch her starve to death. She’s quite happy & doesn’t act sick at all. Please pray that she starts eating on her own or that I get to the bottom of it. I don’t know where to go from here, honestly & I don’t have a lot of money. $900 is now on Care Credit. I’d like to have her have an Ultrasound & that’s very pricey, but even if I find out what’s wrong on the Ultrasound I’m not sure that I can continue to pay for these expensive diagnostic tests.
