Please pray for Doug. We met 11 years ago, and it’s been on again off again a couple of times. I truly believe that my mom is right that “he definitely loves you but freaks himself out about you”. We have so much fun together & travel very well together (we both love to travel). Even when we were ‘off’ he didn’t hesitate to help me when I needed a ride to get a rental car to see my dying grandfather (it was huge for me at that difficult time). My biggest prayer is for Doug to thirst for God’s word and hunger for God’s truth so that … a) Doug will grow close to God, accept Jesus as his Lord & Savior, be filled with the Holy Spirit; and, … b) recognize wrong thinking in himself and in others, especially when it comes to a committed relationship. He’s had very bad & hurtful past relationships and he’s fallen prey to the wrong thinking of atheists (a local woman in particular). Doug has a tremendous heart & I know he’s searching. I also know that only God’s peace will fill him. I lift Doug up in prayer in the name of Jesus.
