This is a silly one but please pray for my emotions this weekend. My grandson plays on a travel ball basketball team and while he has played every game prior to last weekend for some reason he did not play last weekend in the tournament. It was very hard to watch him just sitting there and asking the coach if he was going to play. A few tears shed by this Granny. It hurts me to see him hurt and of course, he noticed that he didn’t play. Please pray that this weekend no matter what happens I will encourage him and not let him see me upset in any way (he did not see that I was bothered by last weekend!). I know it’s not important in the big scheme of things but I don’t want him to lose his passion for the game he loves so much. God has gifted him with the ability to play basketball and I want him to rise to his full potential. Thank you in advance.
