Worried Daughter

My mother’s primary doctor found multiple lumps in her breast and referred her to an oncologist. I’m asking for prayers for my family to focus our eyes on Christ and not on the situation. That this trial, however long it last, grows our relationship with God more and He gets the glory. I pray for peace and comfort for my family but especially for my mom. That my family makes Christ their anchor and if we have made our family an idol and have put each other before God, that this situation reveals and convicts us and that the Holy Spirit works in us to help put God in the proper place of our hearts. That no matter how this goes, we remember that God is good and can be trusted despite how we may feel.

But I also pray for the Big and “Impossible” prayer that God will heal her miraculously. That the doctors aren’t able to find or feel any lumps in her breast when she goes to the oncologist. That He can and will heal, but even if He doesn’t we still lean into Him and rely on His power and strength.
