I’m having a really difficult time with family matters right now. My mother and step-father are in the middle of splitting and/or divorcing. This is because my mother has a drinking problem and refuses to go to the doctor for basic stuff, let alone to go and get help. She’s hateful, passive-aggressive, and spiteful towards my step-dad, half-brother, me, our pets… and she’s very loud and yelling all the time which doesn’t help my anxiety. Her nasty tones, swearing and use of words doesn’t help build me or anyone up and instead causes depression. So I am now struggling with both anxiety and depression at home and my work situation isn’t ideal, either. So as a result, it’s a vicious cycle that I can’t escape from – I live in turmoil and I work in turmoil. My dad owns an apartment and I’m hoping in September I will be able to move in there when the current lease is up. But that’s 4 months from now and I’m just really praying that I can hold on just a little bit longer. Please pray for my home/work situation, my family, and that I will be able to have the strength to overcome the anxiety and depression. Thank you all so much for your prayers and have a blessed day!
