One day my husband was reading the Bible and was convicted to tell me that he has been buying and using drugs and he wants to stop but he owed someone $80. I found peace within what he was telling me and just continue to pray but now he wants to make sure he pay off this $80. with that being said we are extremely poor family we have four kids and one on the way and I don’t understand why he would want to pay this off. If he’s going to stop using and walk away from that stuff then why is it necessary for him to pay this money. Especially when we are extremely poor family and I understand from my readings that the Bible does tell you pay off your debt but does this fall into that category?
