My family is struggling with how to manage sadness and depression. My elderly mother appears to have found an escape in casino life. I am fearful that she will gamble herself into bankruptcy and she is not a person who has means to support that habit nor is she at a time in her life when she could rebuild what’s lost. I, too, am struggling with impulsive spending on gifts this holiday season and my whole family could really benefit from prayer.
