Sikkema Family
My husband and I have been married for 12 years now. We have 4 beautiful children. Harper and Lauklin are 9, Piper is 6 and Bram is 4. We love our dogs with all of our hearts. We lost 2 loyal companions and friends yesterday. Cancer took our amazing german shorthair pointer, Zoe. She was 10. Our black lab Jaxson was 12 and had a very large tumor that was likely cancer on his spleen. He also had severe hip dysplasia and was struggling to walk. Our hearts are completely devastated. They have been best friends to our family and were not just dogs. They have served our family so well. They have loved unconditionally. The tears are constant. We take their bodies to get cremated today. Please pray for our broken hearts. Waking up today without them seems impossible. We know that the Prince of Peace is near. But right now we can hardly breathe. Thank you. Prayers mean the world to us in this sad tine for our family.
