I retired to help my mom with my dad who kept having strokes and had Parkinson’s. He passed 2 1/2 years ago. I’ve been sticking close to my mom. She has an extremely difficult personality! It’s either her way or the highway!. Recently she and my husband had a falling out. After about six weeks, the three of us talked it out and I thought everything was fine. We went to her house today to take her some food and say hi and it seemed like we’d like we’ve never resolved anything. I’m frustrated. I want her in my life and want a relationship but it can’t be one-sided. My mother is a believer and goes to church. I’m not understanding her frustration and being hateful to us. it makes me so sad that it breaks my heart!
