My husband is a functioning alcoholic. He has been since his mom died 21 years ago. Please pray for freedom from his addiction. He is too prideful to get help. I have become resentful. I have prayed for him all those years and God has not answered yet. I know there is power in number. He is a Christian and we are faithful attenders at church. He works at a Christian based company. no one knows nor would they see it. He isn’t the nicest person when he drinks a lot. And., I think sometimes he drinks before he comes home because I can tell. It also controls our ability to go out with friends, etc. sometimes I feel isolated in that way. Will you join me in praying for him. He knows he has a problem but he doesn’t want to change his habits. I pray that the chains of addition that bind him will be broken and that God will change his heart.
