Pray for my teenage daughter because she’s suffering from depression. She’s self-harmed & had suicidal thoughts. She has history of abuse before we adopted her. She’s made a series of regretful choices in reaction to those scars & still carries guilt & shame from those choices. She made some friends in effort to get help who ended up being emotionally abusive. She had romantic feelings for some & one in particular she still has feelings for in spite of knowing he’s toxic. She primarily addresses her past with denial & withdrawal. Please pray past wounds heal & she’s set free from depression. Pray her heart changes & she puts into practice what she’s been learning such as who she is in Christ & taking thoughts captive. Pray for breakthroughs with honesty & openness with her therapist, my wife & me. Pray that in her heart she cuts ties from abusive people. Pray for my wife & me to have the wisdom to help her.
