My potential partner is leaving to the Marines Monday for basic training. Things have been wonderful and we share the same belief system and values, but he is struggling when it comes to getting in his head with fear of leaving and us. I just pray that God guides him and instead of overthinking and taking on the stress himself that he lays it at the feet of the Lord and trusts and has faith that all things work together for the good to those that love the Lord. I also pray that through this he knows that God already has a plan for everything and there’s no need to overthink or worry but to lean on him with faith. I pray that as he leaves that God keeps him safe and his relationship with God only strengthens because I know that the military can be scary and stressful and he continues to walk in the name of Christ without any doubts.
